YES THIS YOU TOTALLY BRING UP GOOD POINTS. I totally think that out of all the Scouts, Rei and Minako are the ones who truly hold their duty to a very specific and high standard. I mean, all of them take their job seriously and they all are good at their jobs but Rei and Minako take their duty and turn it into a facet of themselves and their personality, it really shapes who they are. Without that responsibility, they would be different people, and I don’t think any of the other girls would have that same change to the extent those two have. Minako has always been serious and dedicated to her job, she has never once not been, but I feel like she hides the strain it puts on her with a upbeat attitude. She totally gets down and serious when the time calls for it but I think she just can’t be serious like Rei is all the time because it would just be that much harder for her. IT’S WHY THEY NEED TO DEPEND ON EACH OTHER UGH THEY’RE SO PRECIOUS.Plus, Minako may be all fun and games but she’s really serious business when the situation calls for it, and I think if there’s someone who respects that in her, that is Rei and sdlgjskjf feels ;w;
YO OKAY for real Rei/Minako is really great. I think in the manga it shows their truly different approaches to the same issues. Rei has a lot of personal baggage when it comes to her father, and her problem with men. Minako has a lot of burdens stemming from her position as the ‘leader’ of the scouts and Usagi’s protector and Sailor V. Rei tends to be serious where Minako tends to try and keep upbeat and positive because when everyone looks to her for direction she wants them to feel reassured. AND THEY’RE JUST REALLY CUTE AND FUN IN THE MUSICALS AND PGSM AND IN THE MANGA. I just want Minako to play with Rei’s hair and make her dress up and I want Rei to be a shoulder for Minako to lean on SHUT UP I HAVE 20 YEARS OF SAILOR MOON FEELS BUILT UP (this turned into an essay instead of ‘do you ship y/n’ sorry)

HAHAHA it’s by far not the best lighting/setting (my bathroom is green and so it kinda throws off the color BUT I SWEAR IT’S 1000% ACCURATE I SPENT MONTHS LOOKING FOR THIS COLOR) and I just threw on some quick lipstick to kinda tie it together but yeah! I still have to sew in the second wig to give it thickness and then I curl it!
Edit: Also I’m totally going to be coloring my eyebrows for this cosplay because OH GOD MINE ARE BLACK AND THEY LOOK SO WEIRD
